I deleted my accout an hour ago and I'm just wondering how long it will take for it to delete.

Yes, Facebook does that.
It takes 14 days to delete and in that time, you are not supposed to log into your account.
And after 14 days, it's deleted from Facebook. Your conversations with others are marked as spams.

Do Not Login If you Do it will Reset
If you Deleted it Through Account Settings Than its Deleted Until you Decide to Return to it By Signing Into your Account if you Sign in it Can Be Reactivated

Facebook takes 14 days to delete it.You may have just deactivated it, so double check and if you did, search for deleting options.
