How to remove PageRage advertisement on my facebook newsfeed? - Josh - 03-24-2014 11:34 AM

For some reason, there are 'pagerage' advertisements on my newsfeed, and around my facebook.

I noticed at the side there is something saying 'remove/change layout' but when i click remove, it goes for a few seconds them comes back

I've not downloaded page rage, or anything else for facebook and i'm just a bit concerned as to how it's on my facebook

So how do i get rid of this?

If you go to pagerage's website they have disable instructions as well as how to uninstall the program. It's an add-on so you should be able to disable it from your extensions within your browser. You have to look for yontoo layers which is the platform that supports the pagerage plug-in. If that doesn't work you can uninstall yontoo layers from your add/remove programs. There's more info on their website.

Simple to remove completely. Follow these steps:
1) Go into control panel and select "uninstall programs"
2) Scroll down towards the bottom and find a program called "yontoo"
3) Completely uninstall yontoo and all its affilliates.
4) Refresh Facebook and "BAM" Pagerage and all its annoyance is gone!
