How to use FB Purity with timeline? - KnDCy - 03-24-2014 11:36 AM

I want to get rid of timeline but not really sure what "IE7" means.
What does this mean? - If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7 the command in the file that will run Chrome with IE7 as the user agent is as follows : "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --user-agent="Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0)"

Can anyone help with this??

IE7 means "internet explorer 7" - an old browser

Windows 7 is something else

%USERPROFILE% is a variable on your computer

basically, you are tricking your browser into thinking that it's the old IE7, so facebook gives you the old profile look, but everyone else still sees your timeline
