How would you feel if your partner creeped their ex on facebook? - Fifi - 03-24-2014 11:38 AM

My boyfriend of 4 months creeped his ex facebook and admitted it. I'm kind of upset. Am I overreacting?
He deactivated his facebook then reactivate it to show me something, thats when he creeped her

Yes you are you have only been together for 4 months I understand why you would be upset but there will be history with his ex and its only natural to wonder what they are up to. People tend to read into facebook far too much its only a website to see what everyone is up to and I am sure you look at friends profiles on facebook who are not actually your friends but you look out of interest because you knew them from years ago even if you have no interest in ever speaking to them.

No! It takes time to get to know people and most people do not have clean break ups meaning they do not just cut off contact completely after breaking up!! So if you ever date someone who just broke up with someone, its a very good chance that person is still in contact with their ex whether its good or bad.

Creeped? does that mean look her up? As long as he isn't stalking her let it go.

Yeah, I think that would upset me too. But I think you have to look at it from your own position. Have you never looked up an ex on Facebook before? It doesn't mean you want to call them and go out again. Sometimes people just want to be nosy or make themselves feel better by confirming they are better off without the other person. I think you should hear what your boyfriend has to say, and then decide what to think or say.
