How do you switch a facebook page from one account to another? - Phillis - 10-15-2012 08:04 PM

My company has a facebook page and the employee that was in charge of updating it left. She also has the username and password of the page, so now we are unable to get on it. This is a huge potential marketing tool and we can't afford to miss out on it. Is there anyway that we can switch the page from her account to one of ours?

You will need the current admin / ex-employee of the page to make your account and admin. Then you will be able to remove them as an admin and you will have control of the Facebook Page.

For the current admin to make you an admin, you will need to like the page and the current admin will have to find you in the list of "Likes" and next to you will be a button that says "Make Admin".

Once they have done this, you will have to go to the page and on the right will be a list of admins (2, you and them) - If you click the "See all" link on the right you will be able to "Remove" the ex-employee from being an admin of that page.

Hope this helps,
Eddie
