i am trying to access my account on facebook and its telling me that my account is temporary locked can i get some answers what could have cause that

To reclaim your facebook account, you can choose to receive an automated phone call, or receive text message so that FB will verify your true identity.
You know, some people have more than 1 FB account. That's why FB needs to restrict their access to Facebook.
Please read facebook account policies in order to not get blocked.
