because stupid so-called fans were sending tweets to him saying negative things about him & his relationship with perrie & he said something like "the reason why i havent logged on on twitter as often, is because im sick of all the negative messages from people" or something like that...
then #ComeBackZayn started trending...
but he said we can still message him through their official twitter @onedirection

I cant understand wtf is with Directionaters and haters....ZAYN doesnt even know that those ppl exist...like he didnt do anything to them..he did not rob them or steal their stuff..he didnt even make them sad...

I know all you Directioners are going to thumbs down my comment, but tbh i dont really care . in my opinon, it seems like hes doing it for attention $:i bet hes going to reactivate it or make a new one after he gets a shower of a billion compliments from the #comebackzayn trend thing on twitter or whatever. lol so much drama going on with 1d atm. and yes, im not a fan of 1d
