If you block someone on Facebook, they will not be able to see anything you post, even if it's to someone else's wall. They will also not be able to find you in a Facebook search. You also wouldn't be able to find them or see any of their stuff.
BUT...that's not to say there if they did a Google search, other things of yours won't show up. Facebook blocking is just that. It doesn't cover all social media.
