How do I become a kpop trainee? - anonymous - 03-24-2014 11:46 AM

I know that I need to audition but I don't know how to find any upcoming auditions.

You should Google the labels that you want to audition for. I know SM Entertainment posts videos on their YouTube channel whenever they're going to be holding auditions. They even have a Facebook page for it. They're in the middle of Global Auditions right now, but they haven't come to the USA yet. Their website is smtown.com if you want to know more, and learn how to apply. YG and JYP also have Facebook pages dedicated to people who want to audition, but they're not holding Global auditions yet. Just Google their websites (or look for them on Wikipedia and their website should be there) I know JYP has a YouTube channel dedicated to auditions called JYP Audition

Aside from that there's a website called KPop College that you can go too. They have a large list of labels and you can look to see when they're holding auditions. Fair warning very very very few labels hold auditions outside of Korea except for the "Big 3" (SM, YG, JYP, and sometimes Cube)

You can't because your chances are close to 0. Literally thousands of audition for SM, and SM doesn't even accept anyone other than Korean, Chinese or Taiwanese.
