If facebook detects that you're on a mobile browser, they will redirect you to http://touch.facebook.com which is designed for smaller screens that use touchscreen navigation. It's just a different way of presenting the information to make it easier to read on the smaller screens.

in pc we were using high speed net for browsing so Facebook webpage had more advertisement flash etc...though the data rate is high when we are using pc Facebook..same way in mobile low speed data rate coming from Tele network through sim and so we need to avoid some unwanted data loading when we are using mobile then we must stop that add flash loading for getting some good speed and for small mobile display so developer must developed this Facebook software for that:-)
