whats up with email now? - Oncelers Thneed Machine - 03-24-2014 04:15 PM

At first email was awesome. No behind the times people. Barely any adds. It was like underground mail that avoided people who wanted to turn it into something ugly and bland like the phone book or taxes or regular mail.

Now everyone does it your chances of accidentally having to take part in email you would rather not (like surveys about marketing your friend got wrapped up in or discussions about awful topics in school).

Now it seems like the only way to seperate the boring peoples plain agenda is to purely text.

What happened and how come people at places of major business do not respect the fact some people hate using any type of backkdrafted communications system? I hate it and don't want to use it or use broken filter systems that dont get rid of all the spam to read 3 messages a year.

So what's your question exactly?

A lot of people have moved away from email in favor of texting, chat, and social media like Facebook and Twitter.

Email spam still exists and is still a big problem but I don't think it's quite as bad as it used to be, even though the actual content is still 99% unwanted (spam, virus or malware.) Fortunately today's filters are very efficient. I barely get any spam in my inboxes.
