Actually you can't recover your password but can reset it.
First, you have to forget your current password.
Then visit Facebook and try to log in by guessing the password.
When your guess doesn't work, click the 'Forgot your password?' link.
You will be asked to search your account by email, profile id or your name.
When you successfully searched your account then select the mobile no or email id associated with your account to get the password reset link.
Now reset your password using the instructions given in email/mobile message.

on a login screen there is a "forget my password" press it.. there will ask for a critical info you already registered when you created your account .. other wise I don't think you have a lot of hope

if you Forgot your Password your Going to Have to Reset it Facebook Does Not Send you your Current Password To Do This Hit Forgot Password
Put in your Email Address
Facebook Will Send A Password Reset Link to your Email
Click on the Link Inside the Email Than you Should Be All Set

Step 1 : Follow this link
https://www.facebook.com/login/identify?ctx=recover
You will have to enter your email ID , then click search .
Step 2 : Reset Your Password
There options will be provided : (for How would you like to reset your password?)
option 1 : Use my Google account
Log in to Google (if you aren't already) to quickly reset your password.
option 2 : Email me a link to reset my password
youremail@gmail.com
option 3: Get a code from my smartphone
Follow either of these options and you will be able to reset your password .
