I need a code to put my facebook badge beside text on myspace 2.0 but every time I try to it says it's a "Terms of Service Violation" =/ Help?

Could it be that facebook and myspace are competing social networking sites, and that myspace wouldn't want to link people away from it, because then the advertisement value for myspace would go down, and tom anderson (creator of myspace) would loose money?
