I just made a twitter, because people encouraged me to. But before I follow friends, I would like to have some followers to fluffed me up a bit. Any advice? If you follow me @nwingland24, I'll follow back

Search for Follow for follow. I'm sure they are guaranteed to follow back.

Tell those people who encouraged you to start Twitter to follow you. Everybody has to start somewhere, but this isn't the place to ask for Twitter followers. You need to post interesting comments that people want to follow. You also need to follow others. There's no easy way...you need to do the work to get the glory, dude.
