Its been a litte over a year and I still miss my ex. Should I try talking to her? - LudeNation - 03-24-2014 04:21 PM

My ex gf and I broke up a year ago after a year and a half long relationship, she was my first everything and we planned on getting married after I came back from basic training and starting a life together. Unfortunately I didn't join as quickly as I wanted to and it started issues between us. Fast forward till now and I just recently saw her and I'm finding myself missing her soooo badly even though I have an amazing new girlfriend. The only problem is when I tried talking to her she pretty much ignored me which I'm not surprised about she puts up walls so she doesn't get hurt more. But I honestly don't know what to do, why won't this feeling go away after so long? And is it worth talking to her about these feelings even if it's for closure?

I think you could try to contact her via fb or another social media or via phone call. If she doesnt respond I think you actually need to go for a couple of counselling sessions its not healthy to carry those feelings around with you means they were not dealt with at the time of the break up. Its also not fair on your current relationship and girlfriend and or you!! Good luck

I see true love here !!

Don't wait, and never hesitate.

At least do what you have to do; other wise it will keep hitting you back: The big WHAT IF.

So end it now and take an action / initiative.

If she keeps closing the gate, then forget it, and move on. At least you gave it a final try.
