How long would it take to build a site like...? - ˚Їrồחΐҳ˚ - 03-24-2014 04:22 PM How long would it take to build a website that functions similar to tweetping.net or mapstagram.com with a few more features like a user login and page? I have no experience, so I'd have to hire a programmer. I just want to know about the time and complexity of the task. Also, what knowledge would the developer have to have (html, php, javascript etc)? The sites above basically maps information in real time. So, if a user uploads a status/pic it shows the user's approximate location on a map using IP address. map* - Tys - 03-24-2014 04:25 PM Not too complex, you'd need to know Twitter's API pretty well though. PHP, HTML and Javascript would suit the task.
