Companies, organizations, musicians and celebrities are among those using Facebook to promote themselves. One way for people to find your Facebook Page is to search for it on Facebook. However, Facebook Pages that have at least 25 fans can claim a Facebook URL. This URL makes it easier to direct people to your Facebook Page.

1
Get at least 25 people to "like" your Facebook Page. Build your initial Page audience by inviting friends to "like" the Page, post a link to the Page on your personal Facebook Wall or add a link to the Page from your organization's website or email newsletter.

2
Go to Facebook.com/username to choose a URL for your Page. Sign in to Facebook if needed, and select your Page from the "Page Name" menu.

3
Enter a username that meets Facebook's requirements, and click "Check Availability" to see if the name is available. Your username can only contain alphanumeric characters or a period. This username will be appended to "Facebook.com" to create a URL, such as "Facebook.com\username".

4
Confirm your choice of username if it is available.
