Using Facebook, is it possible to add a friend, while at the same time prohibiting them from ever being able to view my list of "friends"?
Basically, I don't want my friends to know who else I have as friends.

Are you wanting to block friends on facebook or hide friends from your feed?
Here's how to block friends on facebook. To block friends you need to go to the My Privacy Tab, type the person you want to block & click search. Click the "Block Person" and you're done! Here's a link to the ehow article: http://www.ehow.com/how_2031204_block-pe…
If you want to hide friends from your feed. First go to your feeds, look at an individuals name, then click the circle at right next to the name. Clicking that circle opens a pop up that will allow you the hide updates from that person.

yes it is go to your privacy settings and from there you should be able to where it says send me a friend request click on that box and hit customize than me only
