Should I get on Facebook? - J-Swift. - 03-24-2014 04:30 PM
I'm a college freshman, and I use to have Facebook in my freshman and sophomore years of high school. However, I found it to be a waste of time, and I hated all of the superficial friendships, so I just stopped using it. I literally haven't been on since my sophomore year of high school. However, now that I'm in college, part of me feels like I should check back on all of my high school friends. BUT - another part of me feels like I'm just going to get sucked in, and waste time, and temporarily say "hi" to all my friends, and then lose touch again. Part of me wants to look back, but another part of me just wants to keep going.
Should I just resist the urge and join the world on facebook?

You're an adult--make your own decisions. If you have to come on YA and get advice from a bunch of 12 year olds, then you're not mature enough to be on Facebook let alone college.
