Does anyone know how to completely get rid of the Stupid Timeline on FB? - polkadots123 - 03-24-2014 04:32 PM

So I logged on my FB and now it tells me that this dumb timeline will be live for me next week. I'm pissed off. Not everyone I know wants to do this timeline. I like the way it is! Some people likes this timeline and others don't, like me. Why does FB have to force people to do this stupid timeline and should give people OPTIONS to choose if they want to do it or not! Simple as that! Again, that's cool if people love the timeline, but others like me would rather just keep it plain and simple.
btw, I wanted to add some pics to my fb and it won't let me unless I actually go into the stupid timeline!

if you're on FB you learn to deal with Timelines. Don't spend time on your wall and you'll mostly never see it.

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update - they are now forcibly converting everyone slowly without your consent

this guide will help you learn how to use it

you can trick your browser into making it so you see your old profile, but everyone else will still be seeing your timeline profile, along with anything you dont want them seeing, and you wont be able to see anyone else's timeline profile then either

I also think Timeline is awful, and that it should be optional. So far my page has not been changed to Timeline, but I can still upload photos.

As an older person, I find it so annoying when layouts are changed unnecessarily. Newer things are not always better. (Same applies to updates)
