can you judge people based on thier facebook profile? - Carl - 03-24-2014 04:32 PM

I've "known" this girl for three years. I mean I talk to her through email and MSN messenger because she lives in another country. I saw her facebook profile the other day and she has all these photos wheres shes with a bunch of different guys and she claims to be married to some dude on her profile, but I find it hard to believe since shes only 19 years old. Im just wondering if maybe the facebook profile portrays in a negative way or is that probably how she really is?
shadow I have met the girl in person before. Its just that she lives far away so i cant see her often

grow up bonehead, you are dealing with billions of people. I appoligize for being rude but you never know pics are a dime a million and you never know all this time you have been chatting it could be some olg faggot with a facebook of his neighbor

who knows? some people get married young. and maybe she has a lot of guy friends. it depends. she could be listed as married just for the attention. and it totally depends on what she's doing in all her pics. if you're getting a weird vibe from it all then i'd say trust your instincts.

People can and do judge other people based on a profile. An example of this: Some employers look through social networking sites like Facebook and Myspace to try to figure out what kind of person they may be hiring. Just the same way that people may look at a person's email address for clues on personality. The profile information may be fake. As for the pictures, I agree with Piper.
