Is there a genuine pragmatic application of Facebook or Twitter to one's business? - BigBill - 10-15-2012 08:10 PM

Does a business genuinely benefit from using Facebook or Twitter? Or are they just social entities?

Social media is about "sharing" you could have the greatest product or service in the world, but if no one knows about your business will most certainly fail. Social media icons like Twitter and FB for example make it easy for a visitor to share your website with others by simply clicking on those social media icons. As a matter of fact visitors to websites hold businesses in higher esteem that have social media icons because it 1. allows them to share and 2. allows then to engage with your brand in the future. For instance having a Facebook business page is a great way to build your brand, share deals, and promotions, plus all the people who join your business page are now leads that you have captured and can market to in the future.

Hope this Helps,
Wally..
