I just activated the Facebook SMS notification option and I ran on to a field named "Whose status updates should go to my phone?".
I'm curious as to if someone adds me there, will I be notified, or will a confirmation arrive as an SMS or an e-mail?
How can I disable for people not to recieve SMS notifications about me? I beleve only family should have that kind of priviledge, not everyone...

You cannot control whether other people receive SMS updates about your activities.
If you don't want people outside your family to receive these notifications, then change your privacy settings so that people outside your family can't see your activities.
