Facebook stuggling to profit? - Tha A-Train - 03-24-2014 04:41 PM

I heard Facebook has been struggling to make a profit in the recession ( http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1506843/facebook_struggling_to_profit_compared.html?cat=3 ) . How is this possible? Don't they make billions upon billions of dollars from the advertisements? I mean, if one owns a website that gets 1000 visitors a month and they have one advertisement on the site, thats decent profit right there. Facebook has like half a billion people visiting daily! This has to be BS, right?

The related article suggest that Facebook is not making as much profits as the other Social Media Network site. It's not struggling to make profits, but compared to others in the same business it making less profits. There may be several reasons for this, but mainly because of the different approach in the business model implemented. Nothing wrong in this except that the approach used by Fackbook didn't yield the expected returns(:
Facebook is viewed as a main competitor to the Mighty Google when it comes to online Ad revenues. Hence, its future is still bright and nothing to worry about.
Different approach to the online advertising will ensure that next year it will come up with bigger figuresSmile
Hope this helps you!!
