Me, 23 (F), him 26 (M). This is a guy I don't know too well but would like to, we met awhile back ago and we're friends on Facebook. At the time I had just gotten out of a relationship and he was in one. Fast forward several months and we're both single.
Is there a way to show I'm interested in getting to know him without coming off as odd or creepy? I'm extra nervous because I'm not sure if I'm "his type" even.

"Like" then add a simple & sweet comment on his picture via his social media account. You have to show him that you exist first of all. He'll start to take notice and may about you and start viewing yours as well. Word of advice: don't put any pictures of anything that are confusing or too flirtatious.
Then wait. You can also ask a question via his FB. He'll need to respond and if he doesn't, he's probably interested in someone else. Got it?....
Start light, simple, and be patient. You'll find out if he may be interested by how he responds and how soon he responds...
