Should I use Facebook or Instagram for sharing information? - Bev - 03-24-2014 04:43 PM

I not one for the social media craze. But I do like searching the internet for things I'm interested in. I bought this old made in japan (mij) guitar from a friend. It's one of those so called lawsuit guitars. A copy of a 1970's Fender strat. There doesn't seem to be to much info on the internet about this brand name. Not one that most people have heard of. For the past 3 years I have collected about 15 photos of this brand. Mostly from ebay and some guitar forums. I would like to post these photo's and information I have copied to a media site so that it all will be in one location. But I didn't keep a record of where I copied the photos from. And this guitar brand hasn't been in production since about 1982. So my question is "Can I get in trouble for using other peoples photos? If not where should I post the pics and sales flyers I have found about the guitar? I want to do this so that the few of us that own this brand of guitar can one day find out more about it.
Thank You

When you make your post, say that you have collected the photos over many years and would like to credit the owners but have lost track. Ask them to contact you so you can included their info. Or some such.
