I've heard you don't need a degree to get this job, but even if you do, you get paid a good amount of money for it. So what I want to know is what do you do in this job and what would you need to know to be good at it. Math is my worst subject so I hope this has nothing to do with math.

marketing a business through social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin..... As the name states Social Media Marketing.
As for math, it does require some to figure your marketing base numbers, response rates and % growth you have generated.
