Muslims:would this be considered haram? - Heba - 03-24-2014 04:52 PM

So i have an Islamic instagram page. For those of you who don't know, on instagram you post pictures. So most of my pictures that I post I take from someone else's account. Ex: if someone posts something islamic, I might take it and post it, without giving them credit. Would it be haram to do that without asking them or giving them credit? The thing is, the same Islamic picture is seen on more than one different account. Like I might have seen a certain Islamic picture posted like 10 times.

So would it be haram? And what if that account hadn't taken the picture from someone else but made it themselves, would it be haram?
Jazak Allah

I really don't think using someone else's picture has anything to do with religion? Its instagram dude, its not going to send you to hell. I am a muslim myself, but you seriously can't let it control every part of your life. Its just a social media website, its not stealing, people wouldn't post things online if they were worried it will get stolen.
