I am getting twitter notifications on my iPhone for a twitter member I follow. I don't ever remember subscribing. How do I unsubscribe?

Go to their profile online (twitter.com/username) and in the top right hand corner, next to "following", there should be a user icon. Click on it and go to "turn off mobile notifications".
