Why can't I see my friends photos on facebook? - Leon - 10-15-2012 08:13 PM

So there was a party the other night and a lot of photos were taken, but now according to everyone else they're all uploaded on facebook but I can't see any of them. When i go onto the uploaders profile page it's like nothing was uploaded.
I'm pretty sure I haven't been blocked because we're good friends and nothing happened bad that night, when my friend sends a link it comes up as content unavailable.

Your friend probably has made the album so that only the people he/she has chosen can see it. And has probably forgotten to add you to that list. That also explains the " content unavailable " page.

Facebook allows their users to control whether or not their friends can access their photos and photos in which they are tagged through third party applications. Options for individual albums include allowing Friends Only, Friends of Friends, Networks and Just Me (the owner of the album). If the album owner has made the album private to everyone but himself, even his friends won’t be able to view the pictures in the album. This is a privacy control of Facebook.
