Just how weird is it to message your philosophy teacher on Facebook? - A. - 03-24-2014 04:59 PM

Lately I've been thinking about a philosophical something, which I can't quite figure out. I realised that if I messaged my philosophy teacher, he could help me discuss or even solve the problem. Now, this isn't something personal: just a philosophical topic, which I think he'd find interesting. I've discussed things with him before (in real life as well as in comment sections on Facebook).

So, what do you think? I don't want to be intrusive.
You sure? Not even if it's a private chat?

Everyone is on Facebook today. Not weird at all.

Seriously, just do it. Green light, my friend. You have my word, it's not that weird.... Not sure this should be in the philosophy section though. Tongue That's probably weirder than talking to your teacher on FB who you've already talked to on FB. lol. (Which is to say, it's super not that weird!)

Kind of a shame that you didn't post your question here, as opposed to merely displaying your 'social anxiety'.
We can answer at least as well as your teacher, I'd imagine...
Whatever...
Good luck

I don't have Facebook but I think he would be honored. Go ahead and ask away Smile

I think he will be completely weirded out.

Most teachers don't want external contact with students.
