My best "friend" says that when she gets a message from somebody on facebook it automatically would say she was online. And she hasn't messaged me for hours and it said she was just on and she was on for a minute and I texted her but she hasn't respond. She has an iPhone. Is she lying to me?

Maybe she just doesnt want to answer right now. In Facebook, you can see if someone has read a message oyu sent to them, they don't always want to reply immediately.

Go under 'settings' and 'security' and you can limit who sees what on your timeline.
She may have done this.
