How to join the the wiki.answers.com site? - Vreneli - 03-26-2014 01:06 AM When I try to sign up I get a box to join Facebook (which I definitely do NOT want to join). Is there anyway round this? - 755 - 03-26-2014 01:15 AM From what I can see on their HELP page, you can USE Wiki Answers without making an account. (as in post a question, possibly also post an answer). But to actively JOIN the site, you have to have a Facebook account and use that to join now. Legacy members (from before the site was "converted") seem to be able to sign in without using Facebook. If I remembered my signin and password, I would test that. I DID test posting a question without joining and that DID work: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Can_you_post_questions_or_answers_here_without_joining_through_Facebook&waAn=1&newqAdded=1 Well, amazingly enough, I DID remember my signin ID and password correctly and just logged into my old Wiki Answers account. So if you had an OLD account, you can still use that. |
