Like I am a fan of so and so company. How do I remove that?

Go on the page itself, on the bottom of the left hand column there is a button which says "remove me from fans"

You have to go to the page you are a fan of,
scroll down to the very end of the left hand column
you will see a button that says "Remove me from Fans"
