My friends somehow increased by 17 friends. I had like 319 friends but now I have 335
I also have this issue of facebook autimatically adding friends in the past but It worked out now.
Im worried about my facebook. If you know how to prevent these problems or know about them please let me now. Thanks

It probably could be that you sent out a ton of friend requests before, and now they are just getting back to you. Only you can add friends, Facebook can't add people for you unless someone else has your account info. I suggest you change your password

I looked it up and other people have been having the same thing happen to their facebook recently, including me. I had 511 friends one day and the next I had 603 even though I didn't add anyone.
I think there was a problem with the friendslist displaying the amount of friends you had (for some reason mine always changed, one day it would say like 509, the next it would be 507, the next it would be 510, without adding anyone), and I guess they fixed it and that's the legit number of friends you have.

It's a new parameter that now tracks deactivated accounts you were friends with...
