what should i be paid to promote a business online? - KAREN M - 03-26-2014 05:22 PM

Built website for a salvage yard. Run it and maintain. Post ads for auto parts on numerous websites. Answer all emails and parts requests from website and other posting sites. Run and maintain social media pages for business. Daily postings and parts requests and customer interactions. Also driving 3 hours round trip to the yard at least twice a month to get pictures of auto parts etc. for postings and listings. Pictures that I upload and edit before posting.

Your duties and responsibilities should be outlined in your contract. You built their web site and maintain it. Usually that ends your responsibility and you should be charging a monthly fee for this service. If you are cross posting to social media sites, you are also doing their marketing and should be included in the services you offer in the contract. Once you start answering their emails and partaking in the running of their business, you are now essentially an employee, not a vendor. The company is saving money on an employee using you to answer emails and customer inquiries.

You start by building their website through Wordpress and register for a domain name and a hosting plan from GoDaddy or Hostgator. You should then sign a contract with the people you are helping to promote and charge the business who you build the website for per month for your service and the web hosting.

You then get more views by posting it on social media sites, Facebook or YouTube. Once you have everything up and running you will be answering their emails and other customer inquiries.

You should also look for more ways to advertise their business you can help them grow more if you can find good advertising sites.

I know a place where you can get more traffic contact me once your website is set up I know it can help your business grow.

Hope this help. : )
