Even if you've forgotten the password you can still delete it as long as you know the email that goes along with it. Type in your email and press 'forgot password' and they will send you an email to that address allowing you to create a new password. Once you get into the account you want to delete press the 'account' button followed by the 'account settings' button and then the 'security' button on the upper left side of the screen. Once on the security page you will see a button somewhere in the middle that says 'deactivate your account' press that and follow the instructions given to you. Your account will remain inactive till you log onto it back again if you want to keep it deleted simply don't log back into it.
