Whydopeoplewritelikethis? - ohheyyy - 03-28-2014 06:55 AM

Ok so all over Facebook my friends use this# and put their words together. Why do people do this? is it just to make it seem 'cooler' or is there an actual point?

Only 4 more finals to go #bringiton

maybe theyre trying to make a point while theyre writing. like, talking ina rush. in books, when charcaters are really amazed the author would write "ohmigod!" just to prove taht they really cant believe something. it all depnds on what theyre sying......on the other hand, maybe theyre just being stupid

When they write without spaces I believe they are trying to convey talking really fast or frenzied. Like if they were saying it in person they would not pause between words because they are so excited. The "#" symbol is for hashtags. I really don't know what they all mean, but you can look them up easily.

I have never seen anything like this on Facebook, I have seen it in books though. Usually they sound like this because they are nervous about something. Not because they are trying to be cool. Other than that, maybe their space barr is broken!
