I'm trying to look for a job but it's really hard out there now. I love fashion and assesories so I want to be my own boss and start a line selling handmade flip flops, headbands, hair flowers and bows. My target audience are women and little girls. Do you think this is a good idea? For now I'll advertise on Facebook, flea markets, and house parties. I live in NJ.

That's a pretty good idea. You might want to get a few friends to help out because making all that stuff may take a long time.

Yes.
But, the business will only thrive if you drive it.
If you are excited about it and especially if you are willing to evolve your business to fit your customer's needs (after all, they are the ones give you money for your stuff).
There is no one formula for success. Remember, it is not the smartest or strongest, tallest or best looking who wins at business. It is the ones who don't give up.
