I know this sounds crazy and weird but we all know how wack facebook is on a blackberry. so it possible to install the sidekick version of the facebook app. on to your blackberry? because I have an 8900 and I was wondering if it would actually work. can anyone let me know? thanks

No. Blackberry wouldn't even download it so unless you someone plan on jailbreaking your phone just to allow you to use a different Facebook application then you're out of luck. If you dislike it that much then just use the mobile website
