How do I get more subs and views on youtube? - Jake - 03-28-2014 05:41 PM

I own a minecraft channel on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/mcmatthew81
I currently have around 17 subs and 420 views. Any ideas on how to increase the number of subs and views I have?

Don't do Minecraft. There is no way to become a YouTuber for Minecraft now, it's too late. All the famous streamers are established now, and you won't be able to break into that area. I've tried myself, I only got over 100 views once, when I got a beta copy of a mod and released a mod spotlight of it before anyone else had a chance to. Everyone looked for a spotlight and found only mine.

You need a game that's still new and hasn't got too many people making videos on it. At the moment, I would recommend Starbound. It's like 2D Minecraft, in space. If you know about Terraria, it's like that but in space.

- create a facebook page / twitter
- be creative
- promote to your close friends
- comment on some other videos

- there's a trend , they called it Sub 4 sub, means if you sub to the person then they will sub you back. search in youtube then you'll know

I've stumble upon some website which let you buy sub-ers and views for real $ but i'm not sure is it a real deal or not

One way to do it to use Google adword advertising a webpage with those Youtube videos on Google search. Another way to do is to post your videos link in other videos in the comment section. But post only to videos that are relative to your video's subject. Make Videos that are useful in real sense.

Hi there,

I used to do YT myself and found it very hard to gain any viewership. When your channel is young, it is knocked down the line in the SEO list with other, bigger Youtubers in the same category as you. Which as you may have guessed isn't good for the smaller channels.. like yours for example.

However, there are many online communities which will let you share and promote your YouTube channel and videos for free. You will have to run a quick Google search to find these forums as I don't want to be seen as an advertiser. Also, remember don't expect instant overnight success. The main idea of YouTube is to be patient and make good content so over time you get a good following.

One thing to take into consideration is to not advertise on other peoples channels no matter how big or small the channel is, do not do it. This will attract trolls and whatever else and it is also classed as spam which will bring haters.

Take your time, upload original content, post to a few forums and most of all enjoy making videos.

Hope it helped.
