as many of you know, facebook has changed the format of their homepage. i greatly dislike it. is there any way i can switch back to the old home page format?

no, there is no way to get it back. you just have to deal. you wont even notice once you get used to this one, so dont worry.

no, there is no way to go back to the old facebook home page. facebook changed it and now its a newer page. you'll get used to this facebook page, but it'll probably take some time.

I don't like it either. I noticed that a friend of one of my friends said that they contacted facebook and asked to be switched back to the previous format, and they did it for her. I'm not who she contacted...maybe Tom?!? I told my friend to ask the girl and let me know, but I haven't heard anything back yet.

Unfortunately we're all in the same boat and there is no way to change it. Ever since they made that "news feed" thing in the last update I've been upset with Facebook. While we can't go back to the old version, I'm sure some developers will eventually make some scripts for Greasemonkey (Firefox only) that will make the layout somewhat more bearable. For instance, after the last update moved the "events" section below the advertisements and the "suggestions" section, I used a Greasemonkey script to alter the layout within my browser. With it, I moved the events section to the top. Now I'm pissed because the new update moved it back down. But rest assured, if you want the layout to be somewhat bearable, Greasemonkey is the way to go.

Most of these will probably no longer work due to the update (you'll have to give it some time for new scripts to surface), but just to give you an idea about what I am talking about, check out the link below.
