I'm a stalker, what should I do? - Blarg - 03-29-2014 05:23 AM

I think I have dependent personality disorder. I rely on others for everything. I have to ask my friends what I should wear, even which selfie to post, and where I should go for everything. I'm attracted to every boy I meet. I have to have an idol. I need to pick a boy at my school, and obsess over him in order to feel satisfied. In order to feel complete. I don't have to know him. He just has to be there. I don't even need to talk to him, I just need to know everything about him. I love being in a one sided love. I find all his social media accounts, find out all his friends, and all his interests. It makes me happy to just know he exists, I don't bother him. I don't get upset when he's in relationships. It makes me happy whenever he posts about his girl friend. In addition to my one main idol, I stalk all my exes. I can't get over any of my exes. Even the ones I break up with. I still feel as if somehow we're still together. I'm a stalker, what should I do? My friends suggest I see a therapist, but I don't exactly have the money for that. What should I do?
When I date someone, and I love them all the way. I've been in abusive relationships before and didn't even care. I'd probably have sex with my boyfriend after a week. I don't think it's that I'm desperate, because my friends say there are a lot of guys who have crushes on me. So why is it that I act this way?
I wasn't abused a child or anything like that btw. Both of my parents are happy and together. I have a pretty normal family.

I used to date this guy online and years afterwards I'd still go to his page to see if he posted anything. I think you just do this for a hobby and you should get one boyfriend and focus on him.

You are not a stalker. Looking at someone's page every day doesn't become stalking until someone begins to harrass that person/obsessively tell them they want to be with them/knock on their front door/ask their parents intrusive questions. You haven't done anything wrong.
