I like the iPhone instagram app, however (obviously) my SLR is a MUCH better camera, and I could like to get the instagram effect with its pictures. I have Adobe Photoshop and After Effects, but I don't know how to use them in this way. Thanks!

I"m not into "instagram", so I have never tried.
However, if you have Photoshop, then you CAN do it, it will just take a bit more than a single click, at least at first.
I would do the following:
Google for tutorials, follow and practice them.
Google for actions - there are tons of free ones you can install.
If you can't find a good action, learn how to get the effect you want "the hard way", then record your own action to make it very easy in the future to repeat it.
