My account doesn't let me get notifications, and I can't find something to let me set my notifications up. I get them on my phone, but it gets so old. I don't get any notifications at all. I have to majorly facebook creep to see if someone commented back, it SUCKS.

GO to Account details sounds like you turned them off

You need to go into your account settings and click on notifications and then click on see all notifications where the notifications normally show up and check the boxes you wanna see
