Facebook privacy issue? - Jan - 03-29-2014 07:17 PM

When one of my Facebook friends view the 'Top News' option for their news feed, they can see comments and posts that I have put, but they can also see the comments and posts that I share with other friends (friends that aren't friends with my friends if you get that!)
Is there a way I can hide this?

Click on Privacy Preferences

Click on Customize Settings and choose what you want to be allowed to be seen

Change your settings on the privacy option. Methinks, there's no privacy on facebook at all, even you hide it, it is public essentially, the more you put there, the more you are being public.

The simple answer is ... not really ..

You best option would be to use the new Google Plus platform where you keep different friends in different circles and you can post to those particular circles individually .. it's the future of social networking !

Its like that by default...you can hit the "x" at top right of post box than hit remove post and never show comments or go under privacy setting and change your comment privacy settings
