When you exit the facebook app on your iPod touch (like just go back to the main menu of your touch), does this mean your signed out of facebook? Or are you still logged in?
If not, how do you logout of facebook on your iPod touch?

Yes, you sign out of Facebook.
Useless you have a jailbroken one and have a program called 'backgrounder' which allows you to run programs in the background even when they are closed.
