I wanted to try the Facebook timeline, so i switched. It says i have 7 days before it goes public, but i HATE it and want it back to normal!!! I have googled it and looked all over Facebook! PLEASE HELP!

You cannot get rid of timeline. Once you get it it's there to say forever, well until everyone gets fed up with this sh!t and deletes their Facebooks. Face it timeline is going to be the death of Facebook.

Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement about the deployment of the upgrade in any of its official pages, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size are never optional.
Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are.

You can not delete your facebook timeline.. It will be mandatory for all facebook users, so youa re stuck with it..

It's permanent now. but you can make it better with a nice cover. facebook has an app that gives you the ability to create covers and collages. the link is https://apps.facebook.com/timeline_covers
