When it comes to a Film, what is distribution and marketing? for example If I was to find out distribution of Marketing of a Horror film, what would I do??

Distribution is related to the cinemas/tv channels that will screen your film whilst Marketing has 2 forms.
The first form is to make Cinemas/tv channels want to screen your film whilst ODean, SciFi/Sky) and the 2nd form is to make people want to watch your film by advertising it in an appealing manner (newspapers, magazines, social media or even TV adverts etc.).

Distribution - how you get it to cinema's and other outlets such as DVD hire/Retailers etc
Marketing - how you market the product (film) to the audience - either the above groups and/or joe public.
