Marketing for new Yoga class.? - Brad - 03-30-2014 02:53 PM

Opened up a new personal training studio about 7 months ago and is going well. I now am trying to get a couple Yoga classes going and am having trouble getting interested people. Meetup.com was pretty good in finding people, but they never show up. Without spending a whole lot of money on flyers/print ads (worthless by the way), does anyone have any good ideas? The center I'm in doesn't have a whole lot of foot traffic either.

Don't underestimate the power of print marketing!

Door Hanger printing is a great and inexpensive way to spread the news about your new class. Printing is cheap and all you have to do is get someone to go around local communities and distribute them. Check out more details here : http://iprinteasy.com/blog/2011/09/door-hanger-printing-boost-business-with-printed-door-hangers/

iPrintEasy has door hangers for as low as .20 a piece!

It sounds like you've dabbled in both online and print marketing, but the key is to commit to a complete marketing plan.

Consider setting up social media profiles (perhaps Facebook and Twitter) for your business, or creating videos for YouTube. Be sure your business is listed on sites such as citysearch.com and yelp.com.

You might also reconsider print marketing. Flyer marketing can be a bit of a science, but it's worthwhile when done properly. Read the blog article linked below for tips on creating and distributing flyers. Having a consistent brand identity both online and in print will attract attention and gain trust from potential clients.
